LAR (Last action Rule) will not applicable in this case. It is applicaple only in change of status ( like H1B to H4 or L1B to H1B). Not in H1B to H1B. If you continously maintained H1B status, you are OK, as long as the H1B approval is valid employer2. Employer 1 or Employer 100 can file H1B, even without your knowledge. Therfore, you dont worry. As you were authorized for employer 2 for that period and you worked for them in that period, you are OK. Exlain them in detail with the evidence of H1B approval for employer 2 and pay stubs. Any way, consult an attorney.

If your spouse got an SSN in 2007, but you didn't care, and filed your 2007 tax with his/her ITIN, can't you amend your 2007 tax by correcting ITIN with SSN?
Why wait till next year? I don't think stimulus check is an annual phenomenon. Isn't it a one time deal?

the current subscription model is setup only for members currently contributing. So if you sent a contribution since the FOIA drive - you should have access - contact admin if you don't.

What I'm talking about is that I like the idea of members who have contributed earlier to have their contributions applied retroactively towards membership (eg. if someone contributed $123 - they get 4 months of membership - i.e. multiples of $25 per month)
Its only a thought - upto the core and a quorum to decide and act on this.

I have had no problems with them. I always got my emails/ calls answered from my attorney and paralegal in less than a day. They were always reachable. All my paperwork was filed per the timelines that were communicated to me. I could not ask for more. They were awesome

What is fair is that we treat everyone here (and everywhere else for that matter) with respect without regard to the country of birth or the EB category. Some are more educated than others, some are more skilled than others, and some are more lucky than others when it comes to green card but what is common to everyone of us is that we are in this mess together. To be honest I don't think we are here to figure out what's best for United States, we are here to get our green card, live the American dream, and make the best out of it.
Therefore, let's not make this GC journey anymore difficult than it already is by fighting amongst ourselves about who is more skilled and who is more deserving. Besides, constant bickering among the IV members will only further divide and alienate more members and won't help us in any way so I suggest that we avoid doing things that has the potential of dividing or alienating members.
Apart from the bad language used by some people .... I dont believe that there is any infighting .... disagreements with point of view is not infighting ... It just a primer for the points and discussions that will definitely come up when lawmakers will argue their points of view. And from that perspective it is enriching this portal forum and not denigrating it.
I welcome the discussion.

Actually category 2 is not one category. Whatever IV has done in the past is past. We want to know what IV will do in the future with the money collected. And we want to know before we give the money, not after.
Simple e.g. I like Target as a store. That doesn't mean I give Target money and let them give me whatever they want for that money. I want to know before hand what my money is getting me.
Are there any immigration bills that IV supports? What are they? What is IV going to do to get them through? What does IV expect from the lobbyist? Other than the FOIA thing, is there anything else IV is collecting money for? I don't want to see IVs tax statements. I just want a quarterly report of what IV did with the money it collected and what IV will do with the money it collects in the future. A simple 5 line explanation is enough. It has to be something concrete though. "IV will improve the EB immigration process" is not enough. E.g. "IV will contact all senators in support of XYZ". "IV will make sure there is constant media attention to our problem" etc.
So, just because your website ad was deleted from your signature, all of a sudden u have a problem with IV. I started of searching for answers for your questions within the forum and on this website. But then I deleted the information I gathered because I no longer want to spoon feed people like you. In fact I want to make your life more difficult in whatever manner I can. That will create an incentive for you to pick your sorry a$$ from that couch and do something about your issue. Life has been too easy for you. And now you are in habbit of spoon feeding. Its a known fact that the pay structure in Gulf countries are different based on the citizenship.
I don't know about the gulf. But Singapore and other Asian countries, pay structure is different for different race and skin color. This happens even if you have GC or citizenship from US.

if u dont ve employement letter, u can give salary slip, w2, offer letter etc. but if u r not workin for the company i think u ve to show some future employement letter.
