I think the Medical's are valid for 18 Months and not one year.I checked this out when i took infopass.Correct me if i am wrong .
As I remember, the validity is one year.

Hello and thanks for letting me know Lord Rahl. Sorry about that - I am just new here. I posted my own thread for it to hopefully be entered. And thank you for your compliment! I also like your self portrait drawing! I like to sketch with pen and ink or pencil myself. I have seen some great entries so far! :)

Sorry but little confused .
Did you apply the GC with the company you are working for now? If so why do you want to change Employer before I140 is approved .
If you change the company and if there is a query on your 140 you are back to square1 .
I would recommend you work on I140 approval , as amit suggested contact your senator

You may be able to reopen the old case, provided the old emploer has not sent a letter to USCIS stating the intent to not persue......if not talk to old employer and lawyer....they may ask you to pay some money for it.....eventually, you may need to work for them for at least 6 months, after getting GC, which will get you legally correct in front of USCIS.
The best thing you can do now is file a new GC with new employer and recapture the 2001 PD. This is possible since your 140 was approved the first time. Make sure the first LC application is similar to the new one. This is only possible, if you keep your calm, negotiate with the old lawyer and get all the LC and 140 approval papers or whatever is needed so that you can PORT the PD and use them for the new case.
I know I am asking you to jump ahead of my case which has a PD of 2005, but hey we are here to help....hope you are able to get this sorted. Just keep calm, remember there is no problem in this world that cannot be solved....your anger will only make you do things that you might regret later.

I missed the last rally and I regret it. There was a moment in time when we were all really energized. The flower campaign was brilliant. But now we seem to have lost that fire - me included! I dont even remember my dates anymore. I know we have a serious problem of getting people together for anything. But starting small in our own cities and connecting to a national IV would probably work. I am here in Sterling Heights, MI (Detroit Metro Area) and I am willing to host people in my area It will be great if others in other cities can do that too. I am dre. ming, but think about it if this works. We can march to washigton again such large numbers that everyone will notice. I really think its time to get together and do something. Bouncing ideas on IV boards is great but lets meet and get to know each other and see if can talk about this problem face to face across the country. Thats what grassroot effort it!. If nothing, we will find new friends in each other. I hope to find that fire in us again and I thank you for reading my post!

Consult with you Attorney first, as this is a very rare scenario for any one to answer in the forum. Also see if you can get this addresses when you go for the actual FP, Try to carry all the documents, Passport, Driver's License, etc and the copy of the I-485/ I-765 etc where you have the correct names.
Attorney is the best source of information in this scenario. Also call USCIS and request them what needs to be done in this case. Also you can get a InfoPASS appointment and get this corrected.
Reviewed all forms today. Attorney said if 485 form is correct, not to worry, go for FP and show all your proof.. but then I found out 485 form was wrong too, so waiting to hear from him.

I got my Green card in mail yesterday. I want to thank IV and everyone for all the support during this GC journey. I wish everyone all the best for their green card process. I wish everyone gets to file 485 irrespective of priority dates and ultimately get their green cards. This is a question to Admin, i have a recursive donation going on, I would like to make a one time donation and stop the recursive donation.

If it is a big company, the lawyer fees is not small, they charge about 15K for the whole process and if they add liquidation damages(marketing efforts), it might be bigger.
Talk to them if you have not started work, you might just have to pay the H1B fees

Do not ignore it. Go back to the POE (CBP deferred adjudication office) and they could have a date of 1 month on the top portion they keep and forgotten to put a date on the visitor's copy. They will check the system and put a date on the I-94. You may be risking their visa validity if they over stay. Do it ASAP.
